These terms govern your use of the Oak Growth website and screener. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.
Oak Growth is operated by Oak Growth Global Limited (“Oak Growth”, “we”, “us”), registered in England & Wales under company number 17211405. You can reach us at info@oakgrowth.uk.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use Oak Growth.
Oak Growth is a subscription stock-screening and research tool. It applies a value-investing methodology to provide data, scores, signals and analysis across a range of global markets. The service is provided for general information and research purposes only.
You register and sign in through our provider, Memberstack. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
We offer a 7-day free trial. We collect your card details at sign-up through Stripe, but you are not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial finishes.
After the trial, the subscription costs £18 per month and renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe. If we change the price, we will give you advance notice and the change will only apply to renewals after that notice.
You can cancel at any time yourself from your account’s billing portal. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid period, and cancelling stops the next renewal. We do not generally provide refunds for part-used periods, except where required by law.
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations you may have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription. Because Oak Growth is digital content and online service access provided immediately, by starting to use it during that period you acknowledge you may lose that cancellation right for the portion already supplied. Your statutory rights are not affected.
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular you must not scrape, copy, resell or redistribute our data or content, attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, share your account, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The Oak Growth name, branding, software, scoring methodology and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own investment research while your subscription is active.
Oak Growth provides information, data and research tools only. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
You are responsible for your own investment decisions and should do your own research and, where appropriate, seek advice from a regulated financial adviser. Investing involves risk and your capital is at risk. Past performance is not a guide to future results. While we work to keep our data accurate, it may contain errors, omissions or delays, and we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.
We rely on third parties including Stripe (payments), Memberstack (accounts) and market-data providers. Your use of those elements may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for failures or losses caused by third-party services outside our control.
We aim to keep the service available and accurate but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any investment losses or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You can stop using the service and cancel at any time as described above.
We may update the service or these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows when they last changed, and we will give notice of material changes where appropriate.
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
